What does it all cost?
Remember, as a professional convention, some or all of your expenses are tax-deductible. Consult your tax advisor for specifics.

Full registration includes:
- All courses, including CPE processing
- All three general sessions
- Full access to the Expo Hall
- One ticket to the President’s Beach Bash
- Your academy luncheon and annual business meeting
- Morning coffee and pastries
*Through the generous support of sponsors, students may be refunded $125 of their registration fee. This applies to full convention online registration only.

Non-Pharmacist Spouse/Guest Registration: $235 per registrant
This option provides non-pharmacist spouses and other guests of regular convention attendees access to the Expo Hall on Thursday and Friday, a ticket to the President’s Bash on Saturday, and all the snacks and meals that Georgia Pharmacy Convention 2017 pharmacist-attendees enjoy. The Guest Registration option does not include access to CPE sessions.
Cancellations must be made in writing no later than June 1, 2017 and are subject to a $50 processing fee. No refunds will be issued on cancellations received after this date, or for convention no-shows. (Refunds will be processed in July 2017 when we get back and catch our breath.)
Substitutions are accepted in lieu of cancellations.
A standard guest room in the hotel — “Oceanfront Run of House guestroom” — is $255 per night.
Other options include villas located near the hotel. They range from $215 per night (“Resort View 1 Bedroom”) to $415 per night (“Ocean View 3 Bedroom”).
Amelia Island is located just north of Jacksonville.
- From Savannah: a 2-hour drive
- From Macon about 4 hours
- From Atlanta: about 5.5 hours
Jacksonville International Airport is served by Allegiant, American, Delta, JetBlue, Silver Airways, Southwest, and United.
From the airport, Amelia Island Transportation offers a shuttle service for $60 per vehicle (which seats five). Reservations required. (Note: GPhA isn’t endorsing this company. They just happen to be the one that’s referred to most often. There are undoubtedly others; Google is your friend.)
You can also rent a car; it’s about a 40-minute drive.
One President’s Bash ticket is included in your registration. You can purchase additional tickets as follows:
- Guest/Spouse 14 and over: $100
- Child 4-13: $25
- Child 3/under: Free
The PharmPAC Reception is open to any PharmPAC investor who has invested at least $250 in 2017, and his/her non-pharmacist spouse or guest. Not eligible yet? Click here to invest in PharmPAC.
Student sponsorship: $125 per student
We ask working pharmacists to help underwrite the cost of student pharmacists who are attending convention. Each $125 sponsorship goes directly and entirely to a student attendee to offset the cost of registration. Students are still responsible for their own travel and accommodations.
